Whitney Leads Crescent City to 3-1 Win
In a tight tilt between the Crescent City Krewe and the Marquette Miners, Brandon Whitney was the deciding factor. The Crescent City right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Carl Gray finished the game for Crescent City and earned his 6th save. Crescent City, now 17-16, holds down 4th place in the Premier AA.

Whitney gave Crescent City a solid start. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 8 innings.

"Brandon was hitting his spots," said Crescent City manager Jack Morton. "It's hard to pitch better than that."
