The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs beat the Vancouver Vipers by a score of 5-3. Gwinnett center fielder Pierrick Pasquet deserved the lion's share of the credit. Pasquet hit 2 home runs for the Guinea Pigs. Matt Griffin earned the save for Gwinnett, his 5th. The win puts Gwinnett at 13-22.

With Gwinnett leading 3-2 in the top of the fourth, Pasquet batted against Vancouver pitcher Finlay Midwinter. Pasquet hit a fastball to right-center for a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Guinea Pigs on top, 4-2.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Pasquet told the Gwinnett Citizen.
