Chesapeake Upended, 5-2, by Mercer Island
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles picked up a win at Mercer Island Grounds, knocking off the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 5-2. On the mound for Mercer Island was right-hander Charles Siddorn. He played a key role in the triumph. Mercer Island now has a record of 19-16 with the win.

In the bottom of the sixth, Mercer Island center fielder Dane Kennedy gave his team the lead. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Candyman hit his 1st triple of the year. Chesapeake pitcher Dale Bernard surrendered it. With that, the Screaming Eagles jumped in front, 3-2.
