Olympia Ogres starter Yoshitaka Shinohara turned in a top-notch performance against the Ithaca Fighting Imps at The Ogre Den. The result was a win for the Ogres, 6-2. Ithaca is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 9 games.

The Ogres got an important contribution from center fielder Kel Allen, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a sinker to right for a solo home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Ogres ahead, 2-0.

"I executed the game plan," said Shinohara.
