Hawks Beat Alameda, 2-1

The Laredo Hawks used a stellar performance from pitcher Lang Ren to throttle the Alameda offense en route to an extra-inning, 2-1 win at Alameda Field. The Airmen drop to 5-6 and continue their mediocre start to the 2062 season.
Laredo used the timely hitting of Daniel Eglinton to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hawks on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"That was fun, that was just good baseball," said Eglinton.
