Anderson Now 2-1 After Subduing Screaming Eagles
The Crescent City Krewe topped the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 3-1, in USPL Double A action at Field of the Krewe. The game was highlighted by the performance of Crescent City pitcher David Anderson. The Krewe saw their win-loss record go to 20-17. At the same time, the Screaming Eagles fell to 20-17.

Mercer Island had little success against Anderson and his changeup. Anderson tossed 92 pitches over 6.1 innings for the Krewe.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Anderson told the Crescent City Citizen. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
