Polar Bears Lose Again, 3-0, to Loons
|
Minnesota turned a good effort from starter Ashley Remington into a win over the Billings Polar Bears at The Igloo. The final score was 3-0. Billings is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 11 in a row.
Minnesota relied on the hitting of Shane Burge to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Loons on top, 1-0. For the game, Burge had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"It makes it a little nicer in the clubhouse when we win," said Remington. "It eases the tension."
