Javelina Use Late Rally to Win
|
In a tight affair between the Arizona Javelina and the Bethesda Atoms, pitcher Bong-ok Nae was in the zone. The Arizona right-hander helped his team win the game, 2-1. Franklin Paige snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Gerald Huff suffered the loss. The Javelina improved to 17-21.
Jack Roberts hit a solo home run off Gerald Huff in the top of the ninth, which put the Javelina ahead, 2-1. In addition to the homer, Roberts had 1 single and 1 double, while going 3 for 4.
"We leaned on our pitching tonight," Roberts said.
