Will Bennett, who is tied for 8th in the PAA with a 2.59 ERA, never let the Krewe get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Atoms to a win, 3-0. Marlon Henderson sewed up the save, his 3rd. The Atoms go to 17-21, putting them 7th in the Premier AA.

Blake Murray, who is tied for 10th in the PAA in RBI with 23, had a direct impact on the outcome. Murray contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Bethesda up, 2-0.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Bethesda manager Amadeo Nardello said.
