The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs cut down the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles by the score of 5-3, with the largest share of the credit going to shortstop Phil Noble. Noble was 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Guinea Pigs. Rod Pritchard, who is tied for 9th in the PAA in innings pitched with 52.1, was the winner. He's now 3-3. The loser was Fernando López. The Guinea Pigs now have a mark of 14-25.

Noble had a timely hit for Gwinnett in the bottom of the sixth. With Gwinnett trailing 2-1, he turned a 1-1 fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 4-2, Gwinnett.
