The Baltimore Bullets dealt the New Orleans Voodoo a 5-4 loss in 10 innings at Baltimore Grounds. Arturo Prado was the star on offense. He went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Baltimore is now 48-47, New Orleans 52-43.

Batting in the bottom of the tenth, 25-year old center fielder Tommy O'Farrell had a real shot to win the game. New Orleans pitcher Eugene Pearce was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, O'Farrell hit a run-scoring single. The Bullets had a walk-off triumph.

"This house was rockin'," O'Farrell said.
