Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Efren Agpalasin, the Ithaca Fighting Imps defeated the Vancouver Vipers, 6-5. Agpalasin went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Fighting Imps. Ithaca now owns a record of 17-22.
Ithaca took the lead on Agpalasin's 7th home run of the season. The solo home run, which came against Dermot Chave in the bottom of the seventh, made the score 6-5, Ithaca.
"From the last whatever, five, six, seven games, there's really only one way to go and that's up," said losing manager Rafael Longoria.
