Laredo rode a good effort from starter Derrick Pearson to beat the Matlacha Manatees at Fuller Park. The final score was 4-2. Jim Lee sewed up the save, his 6th. Laredo sits at 10-1.
Jude Thompson helped out the Laredo cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the shortstop drew 2 walk.
