David Jordan pitched well, but his team, the Ithaca Fighting Imps, still dropped a 4-3 decision to the Crescent City Krewe at Field of the Krewe. The Krewe improved to 23-18.

The decisive blow was delivered by Luis Solís in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher David Jordan to win the game for Crescent City. The home crowd went nuts.

"Bottom line," said Ithaca skipper Jeffrey Lewis, "we didn't play well enough to win."
