Hawks Stumble Versus Airmen, Lose, 3-1
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Alameda Airmen and the Laredo Hawks, 21-year old right-handed pitcher Alejandro Cordero was the difference-maker. The Alameda right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The Hawks fall to 5-7 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2062 season.
Jorge Reyes took Laredo hurler António Martínez deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 2-run home run put the Airmen on top, 2-1. In all, Reyes had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
