It took 12 innings, but the Crescent City Krewe were able to beat the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 6-5, at Field of the Krewe. Martin Watson provided some offensive muscle for Crescent City. He went 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 8th-place Krewe sport a record of 19-23.

The Krewe got a clutch hit from center fielder Cris Colón. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Krewe.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Watson said.
