Krewe Get Clutch Win, 5-4

The Crescent City Krewe did just enough to sneak past the Olympia Ogres, 5-4, at Field of the Krewe. Crescent City pitcher David Anderson, in particular, had a standout performance. Crescent City pitcher John Greville got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Miguel Ortíz got the loss. The win gives Crescent City a season record of 24-19.
Martin Johnstone hit a 2-run double off Miguel Ortíz in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Krewe in front, 4-2. In addition to the double, Johnstone had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Anderson told the Crescent City Citizen.
