It was pandemonium at Marquette Stadium after an exciting walk-off win.

The Marquette Miners needed 11 innings to beat the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 6-5, at Marquette Stadium. Clancy Hendricks, for one, had a fine performance. He was 3-5 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs. The win belonged to Bo Taylor in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Paul Jefferson took the loss for Mercer Island.

The Miners got a clutch hit from shortstop Ryan Lowry. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Miners.

"This place was rocking at the end," Hendricks said.

Marquette is now 24-19, Mercer Island 22-21.
