The Crescent City Krewe faced a tough opponent in Asheville pitcher Tomás Silva, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Field of the Krewe by a final score of 4-3. Silva went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The 4th-place Krewe have won 6 in a row.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Crescent City trailing 3-2, Huub Oerlemans hit a fastball from Rob Sawyer for a 2-run home run, giving the Krewe the walk-off win.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Oerlemans said.
