Ogres 4-2 Winners Versus St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg got a decent performance from pitcher Alfonso Escamilla, but it wasn't enough to beat the Olympia Ogres. Olympia won the Baby Thunder Dome contest, 4-2. Escamilla threw 8.1 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Yoshitaka Shinohara got the win, improving to 2-5. He held the Thunder to 2 runs on 6 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. After today's action, Olympia sits at 20-25; St. Petersburg slips to 21-24.

Olympia used a clutch at-bat from Júlio Medina to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Ogres ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
