The Crescent City Krewe defeated the Olympia Ogres, 6-5, at Field of the Krewe. Fred Burton, who is tied for 5th in the PAA in bases on balls with 21, was a standout performer for Crescent City. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 2 he knocked in. The second-place Krewe bumped their record to 26-19.

Martin Johnstone was the walk-off hero for Crescent City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Krewe right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This wasn't a good win," said Johnstone. "It was a great win."
