Mariachis 4-2 Victors Over Olympia

Urpo Mäkitie propelled his team to victory over the Olympia Ogres. The final score was 4-2, Nuevo Mexico. Nuevo Mexico reliever José Tapia snagged the win, upping his record to 2-4. Guillermo Torres shouldered the loss. Nuevo Mexico, at 22-23, holds down 5th place in the Premier AA.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when center fielder Bryan Catron, who is tied for 7th in the PAA with a .384 on-base percentage, hit a double. The Mariachis went on to win.
"Urpo kept them off-balance, threw a great game for us," said Mariachis manager Allen Carlson.
