The Rocky Mountain Vibes, behind a great outing from Bill Holman defeated the Caldwell Chiefs, 3-1, at Pipers Ballpark. Aarto Taipale was called on to finish, recording his 4th save. The win has Rocky Mountain at 7-5.

Rocky Mountain went in front, 3-1, on Clint Saunders's 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Saunders hit in the top of the seventh, left Caldwell pitcher Robbie Brown visibly perturbed.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Saunders.
