Tight Tilt Goes to Screaming Eagles, 3-2

The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles picked up a win at Mercer Island Grounds, courtesy of Jeremy Bush. The right-hander helped his team stop the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs, 3-2. Manny Sexton nailed down his 10th save. Mercer Island is now 20-26, while Gwinnett is 28-18.
Making an impact for the home team was David Acevedo. In the bottom of the fourth, the 26-year old third baseman had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 3-1, Screaming Eagles.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Bush after the game.
