Bethesda starter Vic Hanson kept the Vancouver hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a win, 12-0. Hanson got the win, improving to 3-4. He gave up 4 hits and walked 3 over 7.2 innings. He allowed no runs. With the win, Bethesda upped its record to 23-23.
In the top of the fourth, with Bethesda leading 2-0, Bartolo Flores hit a fastball from Sergio Pagán for a run-scoring single, giving the Atoms the lead, 3-0.
