Mercer Island beat Olympia on the strength of starting pitcher Charles Siddorn's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-0. Ron Pitts collected save number 3. Olympia now owns a losing streak of 6 games.

Dane Kennedy had a big run-scoring triple for the Screaming Eagles in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Mercer Island leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a slider from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Jeff McDonald and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Screaming Eagles ahead, 2-0.
