The Seattle Rocketeers got a good effort from starter Carlos Ramos in defeating the Boston Patriots at Boeing Dome. The final score was 3-2. Bill Hayes earned the save for Seattle. The win moves Seattle to a record of 5-5.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Rocketeers had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when left fielder Matt Jenkins hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Roy Roberts and made the score 3-1, Rocketeers. Jenkins was 1 for 3 with a walk.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Jenkins.
