Veeck goes 3-for-3 to Power Voodoo Offense
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 21-year old right fielder Chris Veeck, the New Orleans Voodoo stopped the Buffalo White Walkers, 7-0. Alfredo Maldonado, the winner, goes to 2-1. He allowed no runs on 3 hits, with no walks and 5 strikeouts over 7 innings. The White Walkers drop to 4-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2061 season.

Rubén Vargas had a big 2-run home run for the Voodoo in the bottom of the first inning. With New Orleans leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from Howard Randolph, who led the PL in wins with 13 in 2056, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Voodoo on top, 3-0.

Veeck attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
