Rainbow Mermaids Trip Blue Demons, 7-4, in Extra Innings
A 4-RBI performance from catcher Harvey Thomas, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2057 draft, led the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids to a win over the Mexico City Blue Demons, 7-4. Mexico City has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Thomas had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 1-2 fastball from Cam Butler, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Rainbow Mermaids a 7-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Thomas.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Thomas told the Northern Virginia Observer.
