Saboteurs Lose Big to Screaming Eagles, 13-2
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles buried the Toledo Saboteurs, 13-2, under a barrage of hits. Adam Bell led the onslaught, going 2-for-4 for Mercer Island. Lorenzo Castillo, who is tied for 7th in the PAA with a 2.70 ERA, was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts. Mercer Island is now 39-13, 8½ games up in the Premier AA.

Bell made an early impact for Mercer Island when he stroked his 15th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Screaming Eagles on top, 10-1.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Bell.
