Generals Suffer 5-0 Loss to Belleville
|
Félix Soto was instrumental in his team's 5-0 triumph over the Washington Generals. The third baseman was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Belleville Bulls. Belleville reliever Gunner Laird was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0. Luis Salaza took the loss for Washington. The Generals are now 5-9.
With Belleville leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Soto hit a 2-run single off Washington hurler Luis Salaza. It was the 4th hit of the season for Soto and put his team ahead, 3-0.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Kyu-cheol Kye.
