The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis defeated the Bethesda Atoms by the score of 6-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Carter Clark. Clark went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Mariachis on the day. At 25-28, the Mariachis are currently 6th in the Premier AA.

With Nuevo Mexico leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Clark hit a fastball from Anthony Samuels for a 2-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Mariachis ahead, 4-0.
