Bulls Take Home 3-1 Win Over Niagara Falls
|
The Belleville Bulls received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Jed Banks, allowing them to bump off the Niagara Falls Expos, 3-1. Francisco Valenzuela picked up the save for Belleville, his 5th of the year. With the win, Belleville lifts its record to 8-6.
The Bulls had to work out of trouble in the top of the eighth. The score was 3-1, Belleville, with one out. Niagara Falls, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Troy Palmer dug in at the plate, but on a first pitch changeup, he hit into a double play.
