Miners Shut Out Fighting Imps, 4-0
|
David Jordan, who leads the PAA in complete games with 2, pitched well, but the Ithaca Fighting Imps still fell short, losing, 4-0, to the Marquette Miners at Marquette Stadium. Marquette, at 28-25, occupies 4th place in the Premier AA.
The Miners got a gift in the bottom of the second inning, when they were leading 1-0. With one out and the bases loaded, Ryan Lowry reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 2-0, Marquette.
Marquette manager Andrés Pérez called it "a pretty good win."
