Stansberry Excels in 4-3 Buffalo Win
The Buffalo White Walkers knocked off the Seattle Rocketeers, 4-3, at Boeing Dome. Darryl Stansberry was a big reason Buffalo won. The center fielder went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Buffalo reliever Johnny Flannery picked up the win, upping his record to 4-7. Ioachime Yakutin was saddled with the loss. Buffalo has 5 straight wins, Seattle 3 straight losses.

Stansberry had a timely hit for Buffalo in the top of the ninth. With Buffalo trailing 3-2, he turned a 2-2 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Buffalo.

After the game, Buffalo manager Chris Lau applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
