Cangrejos Fantasmas Earn Clutch Win, 5-4
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jeremy Bush into a win. Instead, the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas prevailed, 5-4, in 10 innings. Bush threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The win went to David Adelabu in relief, making him now 5-1. Ron Pitts took the loss for Mercer Island. The loss makes Mercer Island 30-24.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 23-year old second baseman William Johnston had a chance to be the hero. Mercer Island pitcher Ron Pitts wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Johnston drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Cangrejos Fantasmas had themselves a thrilling win.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Chesapeake manager John Moore.
