The 3-hit performance of Tony Jump, who is tied for 2nd in the PAA in total bases with 114, helped the Ithaca Fighting Imps beat the Olympia Ogres, 8-2. Ithaca pitcher Jeff Riley got the win. He's now 4-3. Jack Hill was tagged with the loss. The 4th-place Fighting Imps lifted their record to 30-27.

Al Thurman contributed to the Ithaca win with a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"I thought we played a nice game," Jump told the Ithaca Citizen. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
