The Boston Patriots knocked off the Buffalo White Walkers, 6-5, in United States Premier League action at Beyond the Wall. Boston pitcher and Kunhegyes, Hungary, native Iiri Lahti had an outstanding performance. Ron Murphy picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-2. Ben van de Loo, who is tied for 6th in the PL in holds with 5, was tagged with the loss. Nick Snyder earned the save, his 2nd, for the Patriots.

Boston needed the clutch hitting of Kharouf bin Hajjaj to notch the win. The designated hitter hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Patriots on top, 6-5. For the game, bin Hajjaj had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"What's not to like about a win?" said bin Hajjaj.
