The Ithaca Fighting Imps got a stellar effort from pitcher Naveed Firdausi, helping Ithaca score a win over the visiting Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 7-2. Firdausi went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 10. His record improves to 5-5. Ithaca is now 36-24.
