The Marquette Miners had no problem beating the Olympia Ogres, 14-3, at Marquette Stadium. Laakea Enuma, who is tied for 5th in the PAA in bases on balls with 27, led the onslaught. He went 4 for 6 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Marquette. The Miners raised their record to 34-26.
With Marquette leading 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Enuma batted against Olympia pitcher Il-hwan Kim. Enuma hit a fastball to left for a bases-clearing double. His 12th double of the season put the Miners on top, 6-2.
"I have nothing to complain about," said winning manager Andrés Pérez after the game.
