Pontiac Godfathers starter Al Casey pitched his team past the Idaho Falls Chukars, 5-2. The win lifts Pontiac to a record of 11-4.

In the bottom of the first inning, designated hitter William White had a run-scoring double for Pontiac. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Godfathers on top, 1-0.

"Al was throwing free and easy," said Pontiac manager John Moss.
