In a low-scoring contest between the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles and the Crescent City Krewe, 28-year old right-handed pitcher Han-soo Yang proved to be the difference. The Mercer Island right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-0 Screaming Eagles win. Picking up the save was Manny Sexton, his 14th. The win for the Screaming Eagles lifted their record to 31-31.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when left fielder Pedro Cortés, who is tied for 6th in the PAA in doubles with 12, hit a double. The Screaming Eagles went on to win.

Mercer Island manager Eric Todd commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
