Good production from left fielder Duk-yoon Yun helped the Olympia Ogres topple the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 6-2. Yun went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 4 for the Ogres. Jorge Mojica earned his 18th save, after closing out the game. By defeating Mercer Island, the 7th-place Ogres improved to 29-34.

Jorge Martínez was a prime factor in the win for the Ogres. In the bottom of the fifth with two out, the 23-year old second baseman hit a run-scoring single. He went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Olympia skipper Andrés Gonzáles.
