The 7-4 Ft. Worth win over Hollywood was due largely to Xiao-gang Kong. The Cattlemen shortstop was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The Cattlemen now have a record of 41-57.

Lautaro Lacasa hit a 2-run double off Brian Folger in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Cattlemen in front, 6-4. In addition to the double, Lacasa had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Cattlemen manager Scott Thompson. "This one was nice to get."
