Díaz slugs 2 home runs to Ignite MotorBoaters Offense
No one was more impactful than Juan Díaz in the 12-5 Lake Murray win over Bethesda. Díaz, who is tied for 9th in the PAA in home runs with 10, was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. The win gives the MotorBoaters a record of 20-45.

Lake Murray used the timely hitting of Artie White to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the MotorBoaters on top, 7-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Díaz told a Lake Murray Observer reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
