Screaming Eagles Lose Versus St. Petersburg, 3-0
The home crowd had a good time watching the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles and St. Petersburg Thunder get after it.

In a well-pitched game between the St. Petersburg Thunder and the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, pitcher Stan Coffey was fantastic. The St. Petersburg left-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-0. Today's win puts St. Petersburg at 30-36, while Mercer Island falls to 40-26.

Joe Bunte, who is tied for 2nd in the PAA in stolen bases with 15, chipped in a run-scoring single for St. Petersburg in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
