Belleville shortstop Thomas Erak had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-4, to Delmarva at The Cage. Erak went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Ed Armstrong, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. Charles Covenay picked up his 2nd save of the season.

Cam López went 1-4 for Delmarva. The 24-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring single off Paddy Wagterveld. It was his 7th hit of the season.

"I felt good up there," said López. "I saw the ball well."

Delmarva, with the win, is 11-5.
