The Seattle Rocketeers used the hitting of first baseman Luigi Mangione to subdue the Buffalo White Walkers, 12-5. For the game, Mangione was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The 7th-place Rocketeers hiked their record to 49-50.

Seattle grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Mangione hit a grand slam home run off Vincent Jones. His 16th home run of the season put the Rocketeers out in front, 5-3.

"The name on the front of this uniform is all that matters to me," Mangione told the Seattle Chronicle. "And padding the Seattle win column."
