Espinoza Leads Nuevo Mexico to 2-1 Win
Nuevo Mexico pitcher Gilberto Espinoza had a large part in his team subduing the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 2-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Cooper Jefferson got credit for the save for Nuevo Mexico. It was his 1st of the year. Today's win puts Nuevo Mexico at 37-32, while Mercer Island falls to 31-38.
