Seattle second baseman Armando Otero had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Boston Patriots, 9-2. Jesús Ramírez, the winning pitcher, improved to 13-4. The Rocketeers got a big hit from third baseman Ostoja Popovic. Facing Boston pitcher Mario Gonzáles in the bottom of the fifth, Popovic pounded a run-scoring double to left-center. His 28th double of the season put the Rocketeers ahead, 4-2.

"We'll need a much better effort, the next time out," said losing manager Tyler Carter.
