Fighting Imps Collect 8-7 Win Over Ogres
The Ithaca Fighting Imps overcame a pretty good performance by Olympia designated hitter Ken Ball, beating the Ogres, 8-7, in 12 innings. Ball was 4-6 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Fighting Imps are now 37-36.

The decisive blow was delivered by Justin Armstrong in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Jorge Mojica to win the game for Ithaca. The home crowd went nuts.

"We maximized our offense today," said Ithaca skipper Jeffrey Lewis. "That makes everyone's life easier."
