Craig Hits 2 home runs in Vipers Win
The Vancouver Vipers beat the Crescent City Krewe, 5-4, in part because of left fielder Pat Craig. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Jarrod Beck, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. The last-place Vipers sport a record of 26-48.

Craig had a timely hit for Vancouver in the bottom of the eighth. With Vancouver trailing 4-2, he turned a 1-2 changeup into a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Vancouver.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Vancouver manager Rafael Longoria. "It's usually not just one thing."
