Crescent City Slaps 8-3 Loss on Vancouver
|
A good performance from second baseman Arturo Prieto helped the Crescent City Krewe defeat the Vancouver Vipers, 8-3. Prieto was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 for the Krewe. Truman Coleman earned the win to go to 5-7. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 5 strikeouts in 7 innings of work. Crescent City is 4th in the Premier AA with a record of 41-34.
With two out in the top of the fourth, Yannick Bouwman put Crescent City in front, 4-0, with a 2-run single. The Krewe went on to win the ballgame.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Bouwman.
