The Crescent City Krewe knocked off the Lake Murray MotorBoaters, 6-0, in USPL Double A action at Field of the Krewe. Crescent City pitcher and Corinth, Mississippi, native Truman Coleman had an outstanding performance. Crescent City raised its record to 51-26 with the win.

Coleman, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 6 in 7 innings and gave up no runs.

Coleman moves to 2-1 on the year with 22 strikeouts.
